Born in early daylight☀️,
named after the color of a deep midnight sky🌙

Hi! My name is Lillian Yahid! Nilgoune is my artist name, but it is also my middle name! (Coincidence? I think not!) As a young girl enamored by color, my favorite colors have always been all shades of blues, purples, and greens. Imagine my surprise when my family told me that my middle name means the color of a blue nighttime sky. Now I can literally say, blue is my middle name! Haha!

I studied at Santa Monica Community College, where I earned my AA degree in General Science, as well as an AA in Liberal Arts/Arts and Humanities. I transferred to Otis College of Art and Design, where I received my BFA in Communication Arts/Illustration with a minor in Digital Media/Animation in May of 2025.

What else am I besides an artist? I am a conversationalist.  A consumer of stories and images. Fountain enthusiast, seeker, and pursuer. Confectionery connoisseur.  All-around sales extraordinaire.

We will never know what the universe will bring us, but I will always push forward to be the best that I can be. After all, the sky is the limit!
